Common questions
What is JunglLand?
JunglLand is a map-based app for exploring New York City. You visit real places, discover events and local deals, and get introduced to small groups of people (flocks) to meet in real life.
Is JunglLand a tour guide for NYC?
It's a self-guided, game-like tour. The map has stops at real NYC locations, and each place you visit adds something to your jungle. There's no live guide, and you go at your own pace.
How do I find events in NYC?
Open the map to see events and places around the city. Ducks carry the event and deal details, and they disappear after 24 hours, so what you see stays current.
Where can I find deals from NYC businesses?
Deals from local businesses show up on the map, and every flock comes with an event idea or a deal as a built-in reason to get together.
How do I meet people in NYC with JunglLand?
There's no swiping and no endless scrolling. Every so often JunglLand forms a flock, a small group with interests in common, and opens a group chat so you can plan to meet up around an event or deal.
Does JunglLand track my location?
No. It uses your location one time, to confirm you're at a place, and doesn't track you in the background.
Do I need to download an app?
No. JunglLand runs in your web browser at junglland.com.
How long is my data kept?
Ducks disappear after 24 hours and chats are deleted after about 7 days. We don't sell or share your data, and you can delete your profile at any time.
